AUTHORITY OF THE PROPHETS
Revealed on September 24,2006
The preachers,
priests and pastors of different religions claim that they have the exclusive
right to speak about God and of Jesus. The reason is that they have studied the
Holy Bible and received teachings from the apostles and from the early church
fathers. Are they the only ones who really have the authority?
What books in the Holy Bible should we consult or refer to regarding the
truth about God?
But in the days when the seventh angel is about to
sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced
to his servants the prophets." Revelation 10:7 (NIV)
Only in the books of the
Prophets of God, no one else.
Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista says: when someone tells your life story to
others, which would be hearsay or gossip. When a verse or verses is/are cited or
read in the Holy Bible, in order to be certain of its meaning, it should be
explained and/or verified by another passage also found in the same book – the
Holy Bible.
This way we may be certain that the referenced verses given to us is true or
not. If the religions teach differently from what is written in the Holy Bible,
we should not accept their teachings. You should be able to see the difference.
Did the Holy Bible say that we should follow the instructions of the
religions and that we should only read about God and of Jesus in the book of the
apostles? No! Is it true that only the prophets know the secrets of God?
Maestro says, read in:
Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing
without revealing his plan
to his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 (NIV)
The message is
clear! If we want to realize the truth about God, we shall refer to the prophets
in the Holy Bible so that we will not be deceived by other teachings.
Regarding the truth on Jesus? Religions are saying that Jesus’ story is written
in the book of the apostles. Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista said that the best person
who can reveal the real story of Jesus is Jesus himself. So, let us read what
Jesus said about this matter:
He said to them, "This is what I told you
while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about
me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms." Luke 24:44 (NIV)
Did Jesus tell us to read in the books of the apostles?
The answer is NO! In fact, he would like us to read about him in:
1.
the Law of Moses, the prophet;
2. the prophets; and 3. the Psalm of David, he was also prophet.
With
this knowledge, and if we continue to read the Holy Bible, we will find the
truth about God and Jesus.
Maestro Eraño M.
Evangelista says: If a pastor
or a priest says that he has a lot to tell you about God and about Jesus by his
own revelation, ask him for his sign and authority in the Holy Bible. If he
cannot show it, there is no use talking to him. He has no authority to speak in
behalf of God and Jesus.
